Who We Are
We are a dedicated group of growing families within the Pierce, Tacoma, and South King Counties coming together to build a healthy, engaged, diverse and flexible Muslim homeschooling community. We are connected by our shared values of faith, community connection and a love for learning.
Our Mission
Tacoma Muslim Homeschooler's strive to build and sustain bridges within the Muslim homeschooling community and the larger community, to foster healthy learning spaces, share resources, and cultivate an environment that nurtures lifelong seekers of knowledge, lovers of learning, and upright citizens; from "the cradle to the grave".
What We Do
Social! Events/Classes! Curriculum!
EVENTS/CLASSES: We provide consistent and flexible opportunities for our children to connect and build lasting relationships. We do this via field trips, flexible bi weekly park meetups, and shared community events/resources open to the general public.
SOCIAL: We stay connected as parents via wats app communication, parent only gatherings and nurturing safe spaces to grow and learn together. If you'd like details for upcoming events email us at tacomamuslimhomeschoolers@gmail.com
CURRICULUM/BUY SELL TRADE: We prioritize sharing resources and tools as well as, cost effective learning tool shares. Families are welcome to sell/buy/trade/gift any homeschooling tools that they need or have outgrown.
